This 59 minute recording of "In Person Midnight Special" features a rather tetchy interview, conducted by Sarah Ward, a presenter on Capital Radio. Recorded in 1974, with just five tracks off the topical album. Just Al Stewart and an acoustic guitar.

"In Concert" was a BBC programme, simultaneously broadcast on BBC-2 television and Radio 1, allowing a stereo television show. Some were one hour specials, but most featured two bands/artists.

This 'second half' featured Al Stewart and his "Friends from Home", who included Laurie Wisefield on lead guitar, Cliff Williams on bass, Mick Cook on drums and Francis Monkman on keyboards.

Supporting vocals were provided by Juanita Franklin, Sally-Ann Downs and Andy Fuller. The programme was produced by Geoff Griffin, sound balance by Chris Lycett.

This is impossible to find 'new' - I buy all my rarities from ebay, but I recommend observing before bidding - prices vary considerably.
Check if there's a copy for sale. Most of the tracks are available on studio and compilation CDs.

All the tracks were taken from the 'new album' which was Past Present and Future
